Thermarest Prolite Plus Review 2022

Comfort

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We’ve been using this Thermarest ProLite Plus sleeping pad for a few years now, and it has never let us down.

The pad is comfortable, lightweight, and super easy to inflate and it’s still going strong! We love how it inflates quickly and deflates just as fast. It’s perfect for camping or backpacking because it’s so compact and lightweight. Plus, the WingLock valve makes inflating and deflating the mattress really easy.

We use this pad when we go camping with friends, but we also use it when we’re backpacking. It provides a lot of comfort at a low weight and size.

Durability

Rating: 4 out of 5.

The second thing that surprised us about it is how durable it is. It’s made of polyester, which is a very rugged material. It’s also got an R-value of 3.2, which means that it’s going to keep you warm even when the temperature drops below freezing.

What really impressed us, though, was how quickly it self-inflated. It only took about 15 seconds for it to be fully inflated!

Another cool feature is its WingLock valve: this allows you to inflate and deflate your pad in less than 3 seconds!

We know some people don’t like sleeping pads with valves because they can be difficult to manage at times; however, if you’re camping in an area where there are trees around then this will definitely come in handy.

Warmth

Rating: 4 out of 5.

We used it on a recent camping trip, and it was perfect for the weather we had. We were in the mountains, so it got pretty chilly at night.

The pad kept us warm, but it wasn’t too hot either, it’s a great balance of insulation and comfort. And because it’s self-inflating, we didn’t have to worry about blowing into anything or having to use a pump. We just laid down on top of it and voila! The pad inflated.

The best part about this pad? It’s lightweight, which makes it perfect for backpacking trips where weight is crucial. It packs down pretty small too, we were able to fit it into a bag!

Final Thought

We loved this product! It was perfect for our weekend camping trip, and we can’t wait to take it with us on our next adventure. The self-inflating foam made it easy to set up, and the lightweight material makes it easy to carry. We had no problem sleeping on this mattress, and it was a great way to get a good night’s rest after a long day of hiking.
