Alaska Airlines Carry–on and Personal Item Dimension and Weight Policy
Alaska Air allows passengers to carry one carry-on luggage as long as it is under 10kg (22lbs) and has the following dimensions: 9″ H x 14″ W x 22″ L.
Passengers can carry one personal item bag. A personal item may be a laptop bag, a purse, or a briefcase as long as it fits under the seat.
Alaska Airlines has a penalty of $25 per item and will be tagged as checked luggage to be claimed at your destination.
Size check templates are available and are located at their ticketing counters and departure gates. However, to avoid any inconvenience, better to check the carry-on luggage dimension beforehand or use a carry-on or under the seat luggage with approved specifications.

The TSA 3-1-1 Rule
Every passenger may bring liquids, gels, and aerosols in 3.4 ounces or 100 milliliters travel size containers. Every passenger is restricted to one quart-size bag of liquids, gels, and aerosols. Everyday items that are under this category are toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, and lotion.
Any liquid that does not fit into the TSA 3-1-1 rule will either have to be checked with your luggage or will be thrown away at the security checkpoint.
